Yoga is the union of the mind, body and spirit. It teaches how to
integrate our thoughts with our physical body. Through stretching
we open our inner connections and improve blood flow. As these
connections become stronger we develop an inner body harmony.
Deep breathing allows us to focus inward and develop a strong
spirit. Pilates uses many of the same concepts as yoga, but is
more of an abdominal based practice. Our spine is our lifeline,
it is connected to every single part of our physical body, and
pilates is based on the idea that in order to have a healthy
spine, we must have strong abdominals to support the spine.
Fitness groups at Tampa
Wellness Oasis are limited to 7 per class. This allows us to
provide a personal trainer focus on each student every time. You
wont find yourself
